Launch: IBT research on international coverage

On April 2, we will be publishing new research on coverage of global issues by the UK public service broadcasters.
Over the past two years we have carefully monitored all the non-news international content broadcast by the PSBs. Many of you will know Professor Martin Scott, from the Department of Media and Global Development at the University of East Anglia, who has worked with IBT in the past. We have asked him to look at our data from 2023 and 2024 and to analyse the trends in coverage over this period.
Martin will share his findings and explore what this means for IBT and its members. We will also hear from our Advocacy Director, Gareth Benest.
The event will take place on Zoom. 10am - 11am.
