How charities can succeed on YouTube
YouTube is rapidly changing the media landscape. It now has more than 2.7 billion active users each month. It’s the go-to platform for young audiences. Many mainstream media outlets, like the BBC and Channel 4, are now striking deals with the platform. It’s become a great place for charity campaigns like #TeamWater.
But charities continue to underperform on the platform. In this session, co-hosted with YouTube, we look at the data, new products, how recommendations work, examples of charities that are doing well on YouTube, how collaborations with creators work and top tips on how charities can be more effective on the platform.
This session is aimed at social media officers and managers and any media officers who want to understand how they can make better use of the platform.
