Briefing with The Times
Date/Time: November 18, 2026 11:00:00 - 12:00:00
We will be hearing from Jane Flanagan, Africa correspondent for The Times. She has a broad remit – to cover the whole of Africa from her base in Cape Town. She’ll be talking about how she chooses which stories to cover and how best we can work with her in the future.
We’ll also be hearing more about how the Foreign Desk at The Times works - and how Jane pitches stories to her editors. The Times has some of the best international coverage of all the UK broadsheet papers and its reporters often appear as guests on Times Radio.
11am Wednesday November 18 on Zoom
