Behind the Screen - report launch at House of Lords
Join us for a very special event at the House of Lords, to discuss our new report into streaming and its impact on our Public Service Media.
We have been working with the University of Leeds on unique new research into the PSBs streaming platforms (e.g. BBC iPlayer, ITVX) to understand how well international coverage is presented and how easily audiences can find stories about our world; from current affairs to travelogues and everything in between. Our research also looks at provision of programmes about the arts and culture, religion and beliefs.
Drinks and canapés are provided, which you can enjoy on the terrace overlooking the Thames (weather permitting).
Speakers
Gareth Barr - Director of Policy & Regulation at ITV
Helen Burrows - Controller, Distribution at BBC
Catherine Johnson - Professor of Media and Communication at University of Leeds
Ritula Shah (Chair) - journalist and broadcaster
Anthony Szynkaruk - Content Policy Director at Ofcom
