Podcast masterclass with British Red Cross

Jude, Zaina, Annie and Tanu , producers of the We are VOICES podcast, will present this masterclass.

We are VOICES is one of the most innovative podcasts in the charity sector and won the Grassroots Production Award at this year's Audio Production Awards. The podcast aims to build understanding of the UK asylum system by sharing the experiences of those who have experienced it.  It was created by a group of 12 asylum seekers and refugees, following a series of workshops on podcast production. The team also produced an interactive version of the podcast during which listeners are presented with dilemmas faced by asylum seekers in the UK.  You can listen to the podcast here.

The masterclass will be a great opportunity to learn about collaborating with contributors with lived experience, the challenges and risks of producing the podcast and how they were overcome as well as pick up some great tips on creative audio storytelling.
